Five centuries ago, together with the European Reformation, the historical era began, which today denotes the word modernity. The Christian, Protestant Reformation turned out to be a religious, spiritual, social, political introduction in this era, which to date actually ended. There is a certain extremely unclear givenness, the vague uncertainty of the spiritual state of that world, which was Christian five hundred years ago, and today often calls itself post -Christian.
A gap has formed between two historical cycles - those that have come to an end, and those that is ready to begin. And we are forced to exist within this historical fault that does not yet have a clear, adequate name. The best minds of the planet, racking their heads over how to designate it, alas, they did not come up with anything except a conditional, rather meaningless, little clarifying the term - postmodernist, that is, postponement
