Experience in overcoming sorrows

The book “Experience of overcoming sorrows” is a narrative about the life of people who through suffering gained faith into God or strengthened it. They have different destinies, but, having met, they would easily understand each other. In sorrows and deprivations, whether it is their own weakness or illness of children, the death of loved ones or a misunderstanding of dear people, they all discovered the light of God"s love for themselves.
In the final part of the book, the thoughts of the Holy Fathers about overcoming sorrows are collected. Archimandrite Sophronius (Sakharov) wrote: “Do not fall into despair even with desperate positions. The pain of the soul is indifferent, but from this pain the power of prayer is born. Sighs from the depths will reach the height of eternity. ”
We hope that this book will help people who find themselves in a difficult situation, not indulging in despondency, to gain faith in the Providence and love of God
