Many, due to their indefiniteity and sinfulness during life, undergo deserved spiritual sorrows after death, and many need our help and wait for it.
In the Orthodox Church, from its very foundation, there is a clear and deep understanding of how to facilitate the afterlife of the deceased, to provide effective assistance to them.
