The book "Essays on the history of the Russian Church: from ancient times to the middle of the XV century." It is dedicated to the two ancient periods of Russian church history - the pre -Mongol (Kyiv) time and the era of the dependence of Russia on the Horde. It examines the most important events of the history of the Russian Church when its Metropolitan Patriarchate of Constantinople. Its continuation will be the publications dedicated to the events during the formation of autocephaly of the Russian Church in the 2nd half of the XV-XVI century, in the so-called first patriarchal period of the late XVI-XVII century. In a separate publication, the events of church history of Western Russia of the 2nd half of the XV-XVII century will be reflected.
