Leonid Ivanovich Pisarev (born in 1865 - no earlier than 1920) - a wonderful Russian historian of the ancient Church, an outstanding theologian and a brilliant translator of the works of St. fathers and teachers of the church. Professor of the Kazan Spiritual Academy in the Department of Patriastics, Doctor of Church History, he is, according to contemporaries, the author of the first Russian Orthodox "history of dogmas" - the reader "Essays on the history of Christian doctrine suggested by the reader ...".
