This collection is dedicated to the Vologda ascetic of the 20th century, the elder-Miryan Fedor Stepanovich Sokolov (1879-1973) and is the most complete of the released until now. The book contains priceless evidence of the grace of the elder, his living faith, based on centuries -old Orthodox traditions. Through the efforts of his spiritual children, who left their memories and preserved a lot of what he taught, as well as thanks to the first publisher of these materials - Gelian Mikhailovich Prokhorov - Elder Fedor became known to many Orthodox, who did not know him personally, but spiritually contacted him. Nowadays, interest in the personality of the old man is increasing. Also in the book there are materials about the close spiritual children of the elder and pious people who are in spiritual communication with him. The publication is supplemented by photographs and notes.
