Archimandrite Andronika (Elpidinsky, 1894-1959) belongs to a special place in the development of relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and Indian Christians. The eighteen years spent by him in India (1931-1949) were devoted to acquaintance with representatives of various Christian faiths of this distant country.
With his ascetic works, deep faith, rare courage and all the ventimony of his calling, missionary Archimandrite Andronik testified all these years about the Russian Orthodox Church.
