St. Nicholas from Flue is one of the iconic characters of Christian hagiography, whose visions always caused polemic in orthodox circles. At one time, the visions of this saint interested Karl Yung himself so much that he wrote an essay about him, and Maria-Luis von Franz in further devoted to his visions a whole semester of lectures for the inner circle.
