This small book contains the diaries and memoirs of Hieromonk Alexander (Pereslavtsev), the clergy of the Annunciation Church of the village of Tyninskoye, then the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Mytishchi and the memories of him of relatives and spiritual children.
Having served twenty years in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Valery Nikolayevich Pereslavtsev took a monastic tonsure with the name Alexander. Then in 1998, he turned fifty -one years old. At church ministry, the father managed to work hard for twenty -one and during this time - to gain the love and respect of the parishioners.
After the death of his father Alexander, the diaries of the first years of service in the temple and letters of Archimandrite Tikhon (Agrikov), which are printed for the first time, were discovered in his home library. The book also included the publications of the priest about their spiritual mentors - Schimonakhin Gabriel (Alexandrova) and the Schigumen Rafail (Shishkov).
