The unique book of Father Archimandrite Innocent (Belyaeva) "Cutting into monasticism: the experience of historical-liturgical research of rituals and the maintenance of tonsure in monasticism in the Greek and Russian churches until the 17th century, inclusive, represents a detailed history of all the officials of monastic tonsure for seventeen centuries, compiled on the basis of the original sources, primarily manuscripts. This book is the first in time generalizing work in Russian theological literature, specially devoted to this subject. In the application, publishers are placed a chapter from the essay of Vasily Prilutsky "Private service in the Russian Church in XVI and first. floor. XVII century. ", It is a kind of addition to the book of Father Innocent.
