The book of Archpriest Valerian Krechetov "Conversation at the Intercession in Akulovo" is a collection of conversations of different years since 2000. The lively speech of Father Valerian pours from the pages of the publication. It sounds in povenly pacifying, in a friendly way encouragingly and in atertically understandable.
The main feature of the collection is the autobiographical part. The father reveals the bright details of his biography willingly and enthusiastically, however, to tell readers about himself is not his main goal at all. Valerian"s father uses his own life as an illustration for simple, but deep truths: how not to confuse stubbornness with willpower, how to establish a solid connection with his own children, how to distinguish true and false freedom, how to believe and why a person lives far from today is far from the wrong way As he himself wants.
A free conversation is held on the pages of the book, not limited by the interview framework, not interrupted by questions. The topics are very different: food and post, raising children and features of the development of a modern person, family and relations in the family of the 21st century, behavior in the temple, confessor and modern world.
The diverse topics of spiritual life are collected in a separate section, something like a small encyclopedia: passions, their manifestations, struggle with them. This part is also made in the form of a free story.
