The complete works of V. A. Zhukovsky for the first time in Russian editing practice represent the legacy of the great Russian poet in the most complete volume to date. The texts of Zhukovsky are given on the basis of a critical understanding of all the well -known autographs of the poet, copies and lifetime publications and are accompanied by real commentary.
B volume 16 included 436 letters of B. A. Zhukovsky for 1818-1827. To 85 addressees collected for all available sources: archives of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Germany, periodicals of the XIX-XX centuries, the collections of Zhukovsky’s works published in the XIX-XX centuries, and individual publications. 168 letters are published for the first time or for the first time completely.
