Readers are proposed to the book of the great English scientist Isaac Newton (1643-1727), in which he acts as a theologian, analyzing two biblical texts --- Books of the Prophet Daniel (part of the Old Testament) and the revelation of St. John the Theologian (the last book of the New Testament) Newton is engaged in the search for metaphors in biblical texts, trying to translate the figurative language of prophecies into the language of geography and history. In the "comments on the book of the Prophet Daniel", the main attention is paid to the study of the chapters of the "seventy -seven -dominated", about the year of the birth of Jesus Christ, about the number of years of his earthly ministry, about the times of the celebration of the Jewish Easter according to the gospel. In "comments on the Apocalypse of St. John "considers the attitude in which the Apocalypse of John is to the Law of Moiseev and the worship of God in the temple, as well as the attitude of John"s revelation to the prophecy of Daniel.
