The book proposed to the reader is not a scientific research. It does not replace many other comments on the text of the Decalogue and is not their analysis or compilation. Here is the author’s view of the ten commandments, the look, perhaps unusual and unusual, allowing you to see a familiar text from a new, unexpected point of view. It turns out that the commandments are not just a moral code, this is a description of the spiritual path that can lead a person to God and to the fullness of a conscious spiritual life - unless, of course, to go this way consistently and to the end. With this view, biblical commandments turn out to be not only the basis of universal morality, but also by the foundation on which the spiritual and ascetic life of not only Christians of all denominations, but also Jews and Muslims stands. The book may be useful to everyone interested in spiritual life in the sense in which the Bible and the spiritual traditions based on it speaks of it
