The holy martyr John of the Eagle (1864-1918) of the All-Russian famous missionary. St. Righteous John of Kronstadt said about him that this is a wonderful person who has extraordinary eloquence that this is a goldmaker. Immediately after the Decision of the Red Terror, Archpriest John the Eagles in the large group of Russian people, was shot by the Bolsheviks in Moscow, declared the Soviet government. His work "Christianity and socialism" is devoted to Orthodox criticism of socialist utopia. Utopia, repeating the ancient attempts to create human happiness and the structure of human life outside God and Christ. For the holy martyr, John the enthusiasm, socialism was a new repetition of the terrible story of the construction of the Babylonian tower.
