Our time offers the Christian a responsible and difficult test - a test of wealth and poverty. Remembering how “it is difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven”, we often readily decide who - rich or poor - closer to Christ. We decide, judging, forgetting that material wealth and social status are not at all evidence of what the soul of a person is.
