Christ is Risen! The wisdom of Orthodoxy in parables

The parable is an earthly story with heavenly meaning. The Lord Jesus himself spoke with parables with his disciples and listeners who doubted his teaching. The parable is a wonderful illustration of deep divine truths, directly not understandable to a person inexperienced in faith. The stories presented in them are easily remembered, their heroes are brightly written out, and the symbols carry a deep meaning.
Our collection includes several hundred Orthodox parables, both from the lives of saints, from the history of the Church, and from church legend. This book is a wonderful gift for a deeply believing person, and for the one who takes the first steps in the faith or is still “looking closely” at Orthodoxy.
