Chants for general singing in the temple

The popular singing in temples is an Orthodox custom, which has deep foundations in the very idea of ​​our worship, in which all believers" uniform lips and a single heart ”should take an active part. Therefore, the restoration in our time of popular singing in temples is not just a great trend on separate parishes, but an important task for the whole church. The system of Orthodox worship itself involves the living and conscious participation in it of all the prayers, and not only a passive presence. This publication is designed to help the revival of the tradition of popular prayer singing in temples. It contains all the most common prayers (symbol of faith, the prayer of the Lord, festive troparia, etc), which any Christian must know by heart in order to actively and meaningfully participate in church worship.
