The book is a brief guide to the Orthodox faith, written vividly and accessible.
The first section is dedicated to the main religious truths of the Orthodox Church: it is about faith, about God, about Jesus Christ, about the Holy Spirit, about the Church, about the baptism and the resurrection of the dead.
The second section devoted to moral topics speaks of the ten commandments of the Old Testament, about the commandments of bliss, about love for God and love for his neighbor, about sin and repentance, about family ethics, about raising children, about the place of women in Churches.
In the third section, we are talking about prayer and worship, the temple and icons, the church calendar and church holidays, about the sacraments and rites.
The book can be used for both pre -preparation and post -border catechization. It will be interesting to everyone who wants to systematize their knowledge about the Orthodox Church.
The book is approved by the Department of Religious Education and Catechization of the Moscow Patriarchate.
