The book contains canon and prayers for the sick, printed in large civil font for the visually impaired and reading in weak light.
The disease is often a serious test for both the patient himself and his loved ones. How can the patient be helped, except for the implementation of medical prescriptions? “The prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will restore it, and if he has made sins, they will forgive Him” (James 5, 15), ”the Apostle Jacob teaches. The necessary condition in this case is a strong faith in God and the hope of His mercy. It should be remembered that the most important thing is the salvation of the soul of a sick person. This is and we must pray in the first place. The Lord often lets the disease so that the sick, may be for the first time in his life, think about his soul and eternity, awakened from a sinful sleep, turned to God for help. It happens that the disease is given for humility and strengthening the faith of both the patient himself and his loved ones. Therefore, praying with love and faith about the healing of the patient, we will betray him of the Providence of God, most often hidden from us.
