The Buddhist teacher, a scientist and author of books, was born in Vietnam and emigrated to the Netherlands with his family in childhood. Having graduated from the University of Leiden, in 1993 he received a dedication to monks in the French community "Plum Village" of the Buddhist Master Thrash the Hanya.
The founder of the Mind Only School in Gauda, Kyong teaches Buddhist philosophy and psychology, conducts retrites and lectures on dharma in Europe, the USA and Asia. Kyong Lie is the author of four books in Vietnamese and one in Dutch. "Buddha in Prison" is his first book, published in English.
This book consists of 52 sketches - stories and instructions collected by the author in six years of work as a prison priest. Kyong Lie shares his understanding of the psychology of prisoners, which will be interested in any person, regardless of whether he has been in a real prison. This is not just a book about prisoners. It is relevant for everyone. Anyone has distorted and limiting ideas about themselves. We do not believe that you can achieve freedom and happiness. But when we gain faith in ourselves, we understand that in our heart we already have qualities in full
