Boris Slutsky (1919-1986), one of the largest poets of the military generation, lived a significant and tragic life. The sign, as it is seen today, was not accidentally said about himself: I set out the story. A native of the Donetsk Slavyansk, who spent his childhood and youth in Kharkov, graduated from two universities by the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in Moscow. Education was supplemented by the severe experience of the front, having gone through the whole war - from the Moscow Region to Austria. Wounds and shells, post -warils and homelessness ... - A lot of tests went to the guard of the Major retired Slutsky. Both happiness and grief became the woman of his fate, her illness and death. The poet’s fearless poems were not printed for a long time, they walked in the lists, the first collection “Memory” was published in 1957. The predecessor of the loud sixties, recognized by the master, Slutsky raised many students. The collapse of ideals, loneliness and madness have led him to the grave until time. Ilya Falikov, author of the biographies of Evg. Yevtushenko, B. Ryzhey, M. Tsvetaeva (“ZhZL”), wrote a book about Slutsky for many years, and now, on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the poet, it has developed. Voluntarily or involuntarily, the lines of Slutsky are “small life -long chores / in the extraction of glory and money / for life experience / do not belong” - the book became the leitmotif and sound as a testament of the poet
