What is this book about
This book is the conversations of one of the most famous confessors and preachers of the turn of the XX-XXI century Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) (1914-2003), in which he speaks of beauty, creativity, art, the image and expression of reality, about how disgrace differs from ugliness.
The conversations of 1982 were held by Metropolitan Anthony at the invitation of the University of County Kent as part of annual readings dedicated to the memory of the Christian poet Thomas Eliot. Despite the seemingly far from theology, the Vladyka fills her with the deepest theological content.

The material of this book is unique: it has never been completely published in Russia, practically in none of the many conversations of Vladyka Anthony there is no such wide appeal to poetry, visual arts, such an abundance of quotes and examples.
