Marina Andreevna Zhurinskaya (1941–2013) is the founder and editor-in-chief of the Orthodox educational magazine Alpha and Omega, the author of many articles and essays on theological and spiritual and moral topics. The plots of her texts were often taken from everyday life - so, at the request of friends, Marina Andreevna recorded her oral stories about an extraordinary cat, but it turned out deeper: unscarried stories teach a spiritual attitude to the creature, infect love and tell about the life of an amazing person who did a lot for church revival . Additions - the articles “Peace as a Commonwealth”, “On the smaller brothers”, an interview “Animals next to man” - were published in the journal Alpha and Omega.
