The collection proposed to the reader contains only a small part of the epistolary heritage of St. Innocent (Veniaminov, 1797–1879), the great missionary, the apostle of America and Siberia, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomensky. The life path of the saint was a continuous and difficult difficult feat: from his incomplete 82 years of his life, he spent on the way, preaching the word of God to the peoples of the Far North of our country and Alaska and the Aleutian islands. There he brought culture, education, and education. And there he was a genuine exponent of that great, wide Russian soul, which is able to accept everyone and serve everyone with his generous heart.
