The Talmud is a set of legal and moral and ethical provisions of Judaism, covering Mishna - the basis of the Jewish oral tradition and hemaru - discussions that were conducted by the law teachers of the land of Israel and Babylonia for five centuries, and which is the main source of the oral tori. The Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmudes differ, the Babylonian Talmud has great authority and is the main subject of the traditional Jewish training system.
In the present volume, the tenth of the multi-volume publication, the original text and the Russian translation of the sixth and seventh chapters of the treatise of Bava Mesia entered. The publication is based on the principle of publicly available, it is designed to help the reader independently get acquainted with the full text of the Talmud in Russian. The translation is accompanied by brief comments based on the comments of the largest medieval scientist-player Rushi. In the future, it is planned to publish the transfer of all Talmud treatises.

The main theme of the treatise of Bava -Mesia, which is represented by five volumes in our publication, are laws related to the clarification of the status of disputed property. In the fourth volume of five, a translation of the sixth and seventh chapters of the treatise is given.
Both chapters are devoted to laws regulating relations between the owner and hired workers. The general rule is given regarding violations of the conditions of the employment of labor: who, after hiring, refuses the beginning or completion of the work - the owner or employees - he suffers the entire loss that arose from this refusal.
In the entire time of work in the field or garden, the employee has the right to eat the fruits of this field or garden. And many other extremely interesting laws. For example, this: hiring employees, the owner may require them to perform work on any conditions desirable for him, even those that are not accepted in this place. But he must stipulate these conditions with employees at the time of hiring, no later. If the owner did not put forward the conditions at the time of hiring, the work will be carried out on the conditions accepted in this place.
Most of the situations considered by the Talmud in these chapters are quite relevant for our time. And the logic of the conclusions of the laws is simply brilliant!
