Age of martyrdom. Christians of the twentieth century

The book of Andrea Riccardi "Age of Martyrdom" is dedicated to the history of Christians of the 20th century, killed for faith. They lived for the sake of others and thought, first of all, not about their own life, but about the good of the people next to whom they were. The twentieth century was studied by numerous historians and was the object of many interpretations, but on these pages it appears as a "age of martyrdom." This publication is based on a realistic description, and not an artistic generalization or religious and moral edification.
