A small apologetic work “Against Fate”, belonging to Peru St. Gregory of Nyssa (335–395), one of the three great Capadian fathers, is devoted to the refutation of astrology with its ideas about the power of stars over human life. St.? Gregory shows the failure of astrology as such and generally determinism and fatalism (which it is an element), as incompatible with the Christian idea of the good God and freedom of man - granted from God an integral property of his rational nature
