The book of the famous elder Archimandrite Naum (Bayborodin, 1927-2017) considers the similarity and difference between two Adams, Old and New.
The first man Adam created by God became the progenitor of all mankind. We are all similar to Him, inheriting both His thirst for God and holiness, and a tendency to fall. Often it is called dilapidated, unlike the new Adam - Christ, who, having suffered for us and resurrected, became the head of the new humanity and saved us from the curse of sin and death.
