This publication is a continuation of the two-volume “Unacceptable destinies against the background of the past century ", containing the correspondence of the priest Mikhail Shik (1887-1937) with his wife N. D. Shakhovskaya-Shik (1890-1942).
This publication significantly expands the idea of the kinship and spiritual circle of Mikhail Vladimirovich and Natalia Dmitrievna, covers both the early years of their formation and the last period of life. In this collection (in contrast to the specified two-volume, where the personality of M.V. Shik is more illuminated), the texts associated with N. D. Shakhovskaya-Siki are quantitatively predominant. The collection of "turning the world" also composes two books. The first book includes a variety of texts of 1906-1938. and notes of the older children of Shiks about parents, about the history of the family.
The second book contains materials mainly telling about the life of the family in 1931-1942, for "101 km" from Moscow in the city of Maloyaroslavts, where about. Michael arranged a secret church in his house. From here it was taken forever in February 1937. The book includes the memories of children about. Mikhail and Natalia Dmitrievna, other evidence of them, family correspondence of those years. The application section publishes "Tales of Children", written by N. D. Shakhovskaya -Shik on the basis of real home episodes, as well as two stories, the thoughts of the middle son - Dmitry Mikhailovich - about the significance of memory and the inextricability of time.
