The book is a collection of essays dedicated to the creative heritage of the outstanding Orthodox thinker of the 20th century St. Nicholas Serbsky. A significant number of works of the saint was devoted to the topic of the fate of various peoples and states - starting with the Old Testament peoples (including Jewish) and ending with Europe of the 20th century (with an explanation of the spiritual causes of two world wars) The proposed essays together collect the key ideas of the saint on the specified topic. The author of the essays reflects on the fate of modern Russia and the Russian people, relying on the ideas of the great Serbian thinker. The book also discusses the thoughts of St. Nicholas Serbian on morality, economics, politics, history, law, culture, science, education and education. In each essay, the author seeks to give short conclusions that can serve as the key to understanding the complex picture of the XXI century world from the standpoint of Orthodoxy
