The book contains collections of the Prague circle of A. L. Beham, who was in the 1920-1930s. In fact, the only major center for the study of Dostoevsky’s work in Europe. The seminaries announced by Beman included people who are associated with the heyday of the humanitarian science of the Russian abroad: P. M. Bicilli, A. L. Bem, V.V. Zenkovsky, N. O. Lossky, D. I. Chizhevsky, A. V. Florovsky, S. I. Gessen, S. V. Zavadsky, R. V. Pletnev, N. E. Osipov and others. The seminarium itself influenced the formation of the discharge of Russian abroad. Research was conducted in religious, ethical and historical plans or from the standpoint of soilism. In addition, the genealogy of Dostoevsky’s work, a connection with other works of Russian and foreign authors, was considered, etc. An essential trend in the works of the seminary was the desire of researchers to interpret individual works of Dostoevsky from a psychoanalytic point of view. Apparently, this is explained not only by the fact that Freud’s ideas came into fashion, but also by the fact that they turned out to be especially close to A. L. Bema himself. It is known that from 1925 to 1933, 58 reports on 53 topics were read at the seminary. These figures very eloquently indicate the scope of the activities of the Prague team. However, not all of the work of the seminary A. L. Bema were able to find a place in the collections prepared by him. Some of them were published in various publications of those years. Some materials remained in the archives, and something, in all likelihood, was without a trace in manuscripts.
For students of philological, philosophical, historical and other humanitarian specialties, as well as all those interested in the history of Russian culture of the 20th century
