Antoine Augusten Kalme (1672 - 1757), known under the religious name Dom Calmet (Dom Calmet) - French scientist Abbot -Benedictan from Lorraine. Calmet was a devout monk, as well as an educated person and one of the most outstanding members of the Church. He was twice trusted by the position of Abbot General meetings. Papa Benedict XIII wanted to give him a bishopric dignity, but he refused to refer to monastic humility. In 1746, he wrote and published a book about angels, demons, ghosts and vampires. Magic, witchcraft, vampires, reins and people returning from the grave. In this study, various cases contained in the Bible, mythology, cultural legends, known reports and documented stories in Hungary, Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia were described and analyzed
