The parable is a short allegorical, instructive story. From generation to generation, parables were transmitted from mouth to mouth, but at the same time did not lose their wisdom and simplicity. They always encourage a person to think, carry kindness and love, teach to find answers to questions of being. At different times in different countries, many people are looking for advice in parables, stories from the life of saints and oral traditions.
Only a hundred parables that arose for two thousand years of the existence of Christianity were included in the collection. This is an integral part of human culture, the wisdom of many generations that falls directly into the heart.
