Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy (1828-1910) - great Russian writer, enlightener, publicist and religious thinker.
In this essay, the author outlined his special view of the Gospels, in which the true teachings of Christ were preserved, on the studies of the Christian doctrine of the interpretations of the Orthodox churches and the church in general, the apostles and the fathers of the Church. In addition, L. N. Tolstoy shared the causes of the belief that the truth is in Christian teaching.
