The latest discoveries of quantum physics, as well as studies of near -death states, indicate that consciousness exists after death. This coincides with Buddhist views, according to which death is only a transition to a different state of mind. At the same time, not the whole person disappears, but only his material manifestation. We lose what we have, but not what we are. Our essence, perceiving all phenomena, lives on, not limited by either space or time.

Lama Ole Nidal in detail and accurately describes the experiences of the mind during dying, as well as what is happening after death - in an intermediate state until the next birth. The author explains how to go through these processes without fear with the help of certain meditation. The Buddhist approach allows not only to better understand death, but also to accept it, but at the same time more successfully function in everyday life.

The better we understand that the mind is indestructible, the higher the likelihood that expectations and fears will dissolve, and we can easily rest in the present moment or action. Thanks to this, we are increasingly hanging in the imaginary world of the past and future and less and less feel the need to prove something or apologize for something. Gradually, we have a picture in which everything is exciting simply because it happens and shows the potential of the mind. Instead of hopes with fears, a person has space and freedom. Feeling them both inside and outside, he joyfully understands how much creatures have excesses and strength, what wealth they can share and how much beautiful they can develop in themselves. Whether the combination occurs - in youth, strength and love - or decay - in old age, illness and death - both expresses an endless game of the mind, its boundless and inalienable opportunities.

Lama Ole Nidal, from the chapter "Cycle of Life"

All who are familiar with Buddhist teachings about the nature of the mind, dying, death and rebirth unites one thing: they look into the future without fear, think about others and are a source of energy for their environment. They are a calm center of a hurricane covering the family in the face of death.

Let this book liberate many people from the fear of death and help them to plant seeds of happiness now!

Lama Ole Nidal, from a preface to the book

About the author
In 1968, after several years of traveling, the young Danes Ole and Hannah Nidal met in Nepal with his Holiness by Gyalvoy Karmapa XVI - the head of the ancient Buddhist tradition of Karma Kagyu, the king of the Yogini Tibeta. This meeting completely changed the life of Ole and Hannah. They spent several years in the Himalayas, studying at his Holiness and other tall lamps. And in the fall of 1972, Karmapa asked them to return to the West and transfer the teachings of the Buddha to everyone who is interested. Since then, thanks to their activities in the world, more than 700 centers and groups of meditation of the diamond path of the Karma Kague school appeared, about 100 of which opened their doors in Russia
