Prevention and recovery treatment of patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system are one of the most important areas of domestic medicine. In this paper, the main medical and prophylactic non-medical methods (diet and therapy, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, therapeutic physical education, massage), which can be used independently or in combination with drugs are presented. Special attention is given to the clinical and physiological substantiation of the use of each of the methods, as well as their role at different stages of treatment.
