The monograph identifies trends in changes in employment and issues related to the expansion of employment in new forms in Russia and worldwide under the influence of modern factors transforming the labor market. It summarizes international, foreign, and domestic approaches to identifying and systematizing new forms of employment, provides a statistical assessment of the scale and features of the development of new forms of employment in the Russian Federation, discusses the problems and specifics of their regulation, examines the risks of new forms of employment for workers, employers (and platform owners), and the state, presents a systematic review of foreign experience in state regulation of new forms of employment, and substantiates a set of proposals for the development of flexible regulatory framework for new forms of employment in Russia to achieve a balance of interests between the state, business, and workers. The monograph is addressed to researchers, university professors, graduate students, and students studying the labor market and social-labor relations, as well as representatives of legislative and executive authorities, public employment service agencies, trade unions, and public organizations.
