The monograph is adjacent to a series of works of different authors who highlight the development of Russian poetry of the XIX centuries of the centuries to the life of the then society of realities and phenomena - telegraph, cinema, telephone, radio. It first traced the evolution of a football theme in domestic poetry of the 1910-1950s - all its main milestones: how first the corresponding motifs adapt to the unusual environment, almost smuggling penetrated into poetic texts, as they then retavated themselves more and more space on the pages The journal poems and collections of lyrics and, finally, how they gradually fought by a set of stable semantic halo. More importantly, the authors were to show how new the motives for poetry changed, reflecting the momentary requirements of our time, deforming under their impact, and sometimes it is desperately resisting them. The task of the book is double: on the one hand, to collect together and classify as many poetic lines about football written in the first half of the twentieth century, on the other hand, analyze the logic of unfolding a football theme in terms of historical poetics. The book is designed for both humanitarian specialists and a wide range of readers.
