The book is devoted to red color in all its manifestations: in nature, in art, and, most importantly, in human everyday life. She talks about the essence of red, its qualities and the ability to influence the body, about the magic of color and what events were associated with it in history and culture.
The large section is devoted to the effect of red color on the personality: this is the psychological perception of red and the "red period" in life, as well as red in fashion, in the interior, in advertising and much more.
The first section of the book is a species. It presents elements of nature, as well as things associated with red: these are blood, fire, red earth, sunset and dawn, red wine, etc.
The second section "Red Color and its Alter Ego" tells about the essence of red, about how physiological effect it has on the body, about how the red one, with which smells and tastes is associated. And also about what place was occupied by red in the life of primitive peoples, why he was considered a synonym for blood, how he entered the hierarchy of flowers in China and India, as he became the color of rulers in Byzantium and much more. A separate article is devoted to red stones, stories and legends associated with them.
The third section is a red color in art: what place does it occupy in the palette of certain artists that the mood gives the canvases, what images it creates in poetry.
The fourth section, the most extensive, applies to the relationship of red and man. This part has two subsections: the first is dedicated to what psychological effects red on a person has, why there are "red periods" in life, which means indifference or, conversely
