Everyone who defended our country from the German fascist invaders is involved in a great feat. This book tells the story of scouts, their lives and deaths on the front lines. Two childhood friends - Captain Ivan Kirimov and Senior Sergeant Stanislav Belov - and the brave radio operator Ekaterina Ermolina, while carrying out an important mission, come under enemy air attack. Belov is severely concussed. When Captain Kirimov visits him in the hospital, he finds his comrade cold and lifeless... What will happen next to the fate of the scouts?
