This monograph presents a new direction in psychological counseling and psychotherapy - relief therapy. Within the framework of relief therapy, a model of short-term therapy has been developed to address client requests, as well as a model of long-term therapy to work with mental states. An arsenal of techniques has been formed sufficient to address any client request or problem. All techniques are harmoniously coordinated and complement each other. Relief therapy is based on the idea that the cause of any problem or undesirable state is a traumatic event in a person's life that has not been experienced and integrated into their life experience. Therefore, all techniques are aimed at identifying such traumatic events, reacting to them, reliving them, and integrating them into the client's worldview.
