The manual was prepared for children who already know the letters. The main tasks of the publication are to improve the skills and techniques of reading, consolidating knowledge about vowels and consonant sounds and letters, acquaintance with the syllable as part of the word and with a proposal as a syntactic unit of the Russian language, fixing the skills of writing with printed letters.

The proposed exercises contribute to the development of attention, memory, thinking, connected speech, enrich the vocabulary of the child.
