Igor Bulatovsky was born in 1971 in Leningrad, graduated from the Herzen Herzen Russian State State Pedagogical University of the Russian State Pedagogical University. The author of five books of poems, literary and critical essays, translations from French (Paul Verlaine), German, Yiddish, in addition, he prepared two books by Vasily Komarovsky for the publication. Formal vengeance and metaphysical depth of the St. Petersburg tradition are paradoxically combined with Bulatovsky with close attention to the specific experience of "naked word". Laureate of the Prize Prize of Gubert Burda for young poets of Eastern Europe (2005)
