The proposed allowance for the development of text reading skills in Korean is the hostels of the original modern Korean texts of the average complexity. Texts are selected in such a way as to tell the reader about the vision of the Koreans themselves and their culture, and affect the areas of life with which any person faces: love, family, study, contacts with representatives of other culture and others. Texts include basic vocabulary and medium-level grammar in accordance with the Korea system adopted in the republic. The manual is equipped with an extensive lexical and grammatical commentary for 50 designs. The cultural commentary contributes to the formation of intercultural competence. The manual is fundamentally different from such editions by the method of administering lexical units: together with the main lexema, there are similar and opposite words, as well as single-handed words and comments, allowing to determine the features of the use of each word. The manual is addressed to students of oriental specialties, as well as to all who study the Korean language, including independently, and already owns it with a baseline
