The birthplace of the wonderful Dutch artist Raquel (Rachel, Rachel) Reiry (Ruisch) (1664-1750) was Hague. However, at the age of three years, Raquel with his family moved to Amsterdam, where her father, famous Anomat and botanic, was offered a place of professor at the local university.
