The book is dedicated to the system of railway freight tariffs. It provides information on the evolution of the railway tariff system in a historical retrospective. The main elements and principles of the modern system of railway freight tariffs are considered - tariff classes, elements and components of tariffs, regulatory acts determining the level and rules of tariff application, rules and procedures for tariff regulation. Information is given on tariff innovations of the last decade: the 'tariff corridor' and the formula for long-term tariffs. Along with the tariffs of Russian Railways (OJSC "RZD"), pricing for rolling stock operators' services is also discussed.
