In the monograph summarized the results of many years of comprehensive research (radiation-hygienic, environmental and epidemiological), to study the consequences of atmospheric nuclear tests conducted at the Semipalatinsky test landfill, for the territory and population of the Altai Republic. These studies were conducted under the leadership of the Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor N.A. Meshkov in the period from 1993 to 2008.
Despite the long period of time, which has passed since the impact of radiation factors on residents of different regions of the Russian Federation, the relevance of this research area is maintained both in scientific and practical aspects to improve the organization of medical and health events.
The problem of the remote consequences of radiation impact due to tests of nuclear devices, accidents and incidents on radio dangerous objects will remain relevant in the future.
The book is designed for radiation hygienists, radio collections and other specialists interested in this problem
