Muhammad Husine Tabatabai is a major Iranian philosopher and a theologian XX century. His book "Quran in Islam" was published in 1962 and was widely popular as an affordable and systematic description of the Quran and its importance for the Islamic world. Later, the book was reprinted as part of preparation for the issue of the collection of Works of Tabatabai. The translation into Russian is made from the last edition and includes the autobiography of the scientist.
