Sofia Andreevna Bakaeva is an associate professor at the Department of French Language at MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, a candidate of philological sciences, a teacher, translator, and author of several textbooks. Natalia Mikhailovna Dolgorukova is a candidate of philological sciences, PhD from Paris-IV Sorbonne, an associate professor at the School of Philological Sciences at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, a medievalist, novelist, and teacher. She is the author of textbooks, monographs, and articles on French literature. The textbook presents an intensive course in the French language consisting of 18 lessons. Each lesson contains grammatical and lexical material, as well as exercises to practice the acquired skills. The textbook is suitable for beginners in learning French, as well as for those who want to refresh their knowledge.
